With 16 years in the Police Service, I started as a civilian monitoring CCTV, then transitioned to SRP and joined the regular service. I now assist the public with device analysis. Inspired by my mother, a fellow officer, I'm passionate about serving others, especially in the Cyber and Social Media Unit. My advice to those considering a career in Law Enforcement is to be fully committed, as professionalism and respect are key components of this field.

Sinead Remy

My professional journey began in the Public Service 10 years ago, with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. When I entered the IT field, which is still largely male dominated, I was the only female in my Division ensuring the supply and management of internet connectivity throughout my organization.
If IT is your passion, acquire the skills, certifications and qualifications you need. I have witnessed positive change in the Public Service, with more women breaking barriers into male-dominated fields, and I am proud to be part of that shift.
