Under the supervision of the Senior State Counsel, the incumbent performs less complex legal matters and provides legal advice on issues related to the Petroleum Industry. Duties include assisting in drafting legislation, contracts, and conducting research.

Under direct supervision of higher-level attorneys, the incumbent performs entry-level professional legal work by providing legal advice and opinions on less complex matters. Duties include examining legal documents and attending court on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
