DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

Responsible professional and administrative work in directing a programme of structural engineering works on government buildings. An employee in this class is responsible for directing the planning and execution of all engineering work related to the design, construction, maintenance, and repairs of public buildings, government offices, quarters, and rest houses. Duties involve the drafting of plans and policies and advising on policy and priority as regards public buildings, and controlling and coordinating the Branches of the Division.
