The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the maternal and child health activities hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities to ensure that policies and protocols are followed and initiates health promotion activities aimed at preventing and reducing the incidence of HIV transmission from mother to child.
The Breastfeeding Training Coordinator will be responsible for promoting breastfeeding through training other healthcare professionals in breastfeeding practices. The incumbent will assist the Manager to coordinate breastfeeding health education sessions throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

The Health Sector Training and Education Officer is responsible for advising on and supporting the training and professional development of the health workforce.
The Health Sector Human Resource Planning Officer is responsible for monitoring and conducting relevant research on developments in human resources for health and reporting on this critical information for the development of timely interventions.
Supervises and instructs Community Nurses in approved methods and techniques of public health nursing in accordance with policies of the Ministry of Health and the Nursing Council. Provides nursing care to patients of the Queen’s Park Counselling centre and Clinic and Field Clinics.
Works with the Director of Health Services Quality Management Unit and other key stakeholders to develop performance indicators, bench-marks, quality award criteria and models of care; work also involves conducting operational research and establishing systems for improved customer relationships.
