Fisheries Assistant

Semi-technical work providing general assistance in the field of fisheries. An employee in this class assists a superior generally in fisheries development. Work involves assisting in the more routine aspects of fish culture, in promoting the formation of fishermen's groups, in the collection of fisheries statistics and maintaining appropriate records. Work is performed under the supervision of a superior who reviews it through inspections and observations.
