This job requires the incumbent to perform maintenance and repair work on the electronic security systems at the Maximum Security Prison, including obtaining quotations, monitoring contractors, and securing prison inmates.

This job requires the incumbent to perform electrical installation and maintenance work within the Prison Service, including preparing cost estimates for tools, material, and equipment, instructing inmates in electrical repair/maintenance, and guarding and securing prison inmates.

Functions include overseeing staff, handling personnel matters, managing the budget, and ensuring the physical safety and well-being of staff and students. The incumbent also coordinates examinations and professional development programs for staff.

The incumbent ensures the successful implementation of the curriculum through effective management and professional leadership. Responsibilities include preparing students for Advanced Level exams, managing staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining a secure environment conducive to learning. The role also involves policy development, supervision of staff, and student counseling.

This job requires the incumbent to supervise Prison Officers at the Women’s Prison, ensuring the security, supervision, and rehabilitation of inmates. Duties include developing rehabilitative programs, managing inmate custody, and maintaining Imprest Cash accounts.
