This job requires the incumbent to plan and coordinate the activities of the Welfare Section responsible for the welfare and rehabilitation of inmates. Duties include developing programs, supervising staff, reviewing case histories, and providing counseling services.

This job requires the incumbent to perform professional and supervisory work, assisting in the management of a primary school and teaching general subjects as per the curriculum. The incumbent also assists in establishing systems for the physical safety of students and maintenance of a healthy, safe, and secure environment.

This job requires the incumbent to teach one or more professional courses in a subject area specialty in the field of teacher education geared to primary level instruction to student-teachers in accordance with the approved curriculum at the Teacher's College. Duties include imparting knowledge on teaching methodology and developing pedagogic skills.
