The incumbent ensures that appeals and other matters are scheduled and heard by the Tax Appeal Board. The role also involves custody of court records, issuing court documents, and overseeing the administrative functions of the Board.

The incumbent is responsible for the administrative, financial, legal, and judicial functions of the Industrial Court, subject to the President's direction. Duties include managing court records, supervising staff, and facilitating the court's proper functioning.

The incumbent presides over a court, adjudicating criminal, civil, and family matters. They act as a judge in summary criminal cases, hold inquiries in indictable matters, and manage the proceedings of the court, including issuing warrants and summonses.
