Agricultural Assistant II

Responsible sub-professional work in the field of agriculture. An employee in this class performs advanced sub-professional work in the field of agriculture and acts as an adviser to farmers in the field of crop and/or animal husbandry. Work may also involve responsibility with regard to inspection of agricultural subsidies and responsibility for assisting in more difficult agricultural research work. Limited general instructions as to the work to be covered are received from a superior who reviews work through inspections, reports and general observations for efficiency and adherence to departmental procedures.
